At the heart of Abbeyfield is the volunteer team that has dedicated time and energy to care and connection for seniors in their community. It’s a way to give back, learn new skills, meet new people, and contribute to something bigger than themselves.
We’re always welcoming new volunteers to the team and have many easy ways that you can be involved:
- Maintain our beautiful rose gardens (spring, summer and fall role)
- Clear snow and debris around the house (winter role)
- Organize programming for residents (live music, card games, etc.)
- Decorating for Christmas and other holidays
- Visiting at coffee time
